This is one of those dishes where the leftovers can taste even better!
INGREDIENT
1 T. oil
6 boneless pork chops
seasoned salt and pepper to taste
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
10-3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sour cream
28-oz. pkg. frozen diced potatoes with onions and peppers, thawed
1 to 2 T. onion soup mix
HOW TO COOK
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season pork chops with salt and pepper; brown in oil for 5 minutes per side, until golden. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup cheese and remaining ingredients. Spread cheese mixture in a greased 13"x9" baking pan. Arrange pork chops over top. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Top with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered, for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serves 6
